SolStreet is a fully on-chain prediction market built on Solana, enabling users to bet SOL on the future direction of real-world stock prices with cryptographic certainty. This client project targets crypto enthusiasts seeking a decentralized alternative to traditional betting platforms, emphasizing precision, speed, and transparency in stock-based prediction games.
The Challenge
Traditional stock betting relies on brokers and middlemen, introducing fees, delays, and trust issues, while centralized crypto platforms often lack true decentralization and fast settlement. Users in the Web3 space needed a seamless way to wager on real-world events like stock movements without intermediaries or off-chain risks.
The Solution
An on-chain system was developed where users predict stock price movements (up or down) and bet SOL directly via smart contracts. Leveraging Solana's high-performance network, it ensures fast transactions and eliminates external dependencies, with payouts distributed automatically to correct predictions.
